Woodbridge Festival 2020 presents Woodbridge Together
Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music has supported a series of events on Saturday 28th August as part of their Lockdown 2020 Festival.
At midday in Elmhurst Park, Woodbridge Black Lives Matter, in association with Woodbridge Pride, hosted a gathering to mark the 57th anniversary of Martin Luther King's I Have a Dream speech and to coincide with this week's Black Lives Matter march on Washington.
From 1pm to 8pm there was a Socially Distanced Disco and Indoor Festival picnic with eco activities for young people held in Woodbridge Community Hall. Acts included nonsuchdjs, Charlie Law, Daniel Lee Harvey, Ben Osborne, J.S and the Lockerbillies.
A Forest School for 8 to 12-year-olds which has been generously supported by Dedham Vale AONB/Suffolk Coast and Heaths' AONB's Sustainable Development Fund, and an Eco Toy Workshop for 10 to 13-year-olds was held in the Deben Annex of the Community Hall.All events are limited by numbers due to COVID-19 restrictions, and all attendees will to register prior to events.
