Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music continues its 14th year launching Deben Island Discs. A new night of music and interviews, it features a musical Q&A followed by DJ sets.


The first night sees acclaimed stage, TV and film actor and vinyl DJ, Ben Miles, joining host DJ, music writer and Woodbridge Festival founder Ben Osborne.

Following the opening interview, in which Ben Miles will discuss his career and the tracks he has selcted for playback, there'll be a B2B DJ set from both of the Bens.


TV and film star Ben Miles became a household name by starring in the long running comedy series Coupling. After this he embarked on a career of leading TV and film roles in The Forsyte Saga, The Crown, V for Vendetta, Douglas Is Cancelled, Ninja Assassins, Napoleon, Andor, Nanny McPhee, Black Mirror, Larkrise To Candleford and many other high-profile appearances. But Ben’s roots and long lasting passion are in vinyl DJing. And his creativity and talent is equally evident spinning on the decks as it is on screen and stage.


Host DJ Ben Osborne’s cross platform arts career has trail-blazed grass roots arts and music for three decades. He’s DJed clubs and festival’s internationally and has writen two books on music, including his best selling Arctic Monkey’s autobiography. He’s an award-winning and pioneering creative producer and his articles on music have appeared in most of the broadsheet newspapers and many specialist magazines. He's DJed iconic places from Stonebridge Stage Glastonbury to BT Tower for the Olympics. Described as a ‘polymath’ by Time Out, Ben’s also presented radio shows for Xfm, NME Radio and Slack City Radio.
